But the MI A1 is an Android One phone that runs stock Android instead of MIUI and it didn't have WIFI calling.
T-Mo's iOS WiFi calling is WiFi preferred. AT&T's and VZW's is cellular preferred, with no way to change it on any. Cellular preferred usually exhibits this behavior, not WiFi, unless the WiFi signal is occasionally poor enough to warrant dropping it. I am also having this problem. I have called several times and tech support has not provided a solution. I use wifi calling on my other device and it works fine so it's not a wifi strength issue. They also ruled out it being a device issue. This is a new line/device. I do not have T-mobile service where I live so I rely 100% on wifi calling. WiFi calling worked up to a little while ago. i did not change any settings (except as a test to force wifi calling and then saw the network drop (previous reply)) I suspect t-mobile dropped the feature on Legacy Pay A You Go.
