Jun 18, 2010 · Scenario is a big blue chip company that we consult for, and they have a couple of ESXi servers, one in each warehouse on a campus, with a pFsense instance providing edge routing for the site, with CARP for failover on each vIP used. Setup worked for 3 years, and we recently went in to replace the ESXi boxes as they were EOL.
